As a Japanese individual born and raised in Yokohama, Japan, and now retired in Bangkok, Thailand, I've always had a passion for both watches and leatherwork, so I decided to combine these interests to create something special.
I'm a big fan of Japanese watches, especially Seiko and Grand Seiko. Over the years, I’ve collected many of these timepieces, appreciating their precision and beauty. My love for these watches inspired me to create something that would honour their craftsmanship.
In my spare time, I’ve spent decades working with leather. What started as a hobby has grown into a real passion. There's something deeply satisfying about crafting beautiful and functional leather goods. I realized I could combine this with my love for watches, and that’s how Zen Yokohama was born.
